What does a dental X-ray show?

Dental X-rays give important information about the teeth, the roots and the bone structures. Depending on the situation, the dentist may recommend a two-dimensional X-ray or a three-dimensional examination (CBCT) for a more detailed assessment.

What does dental imaging mean?

Dental imaging covers the investigations that let the dentist see structures that cannot be fully assessed by a clinical examination alone.

Through dental X-rays and three-dimensional examinations (CBCT), the dentist can examine the teeth, the roots and the structures around them, to reach a diagnosis and a treatment plan made for you.

These imaging investigations:

  • Are non-invasive.
  • Give important information for the diagnosis and for planning the treatment.

At Hevadent we carry out the necessary imaging at the clinic, when it is indicated, so that the dentist can reach the diagnosis and the treatment plan on the basis of the clinical examination and the radiological images.
